Mr. Brian Evola

District Manager, Pine Bluff and Chadwick Road Landfills

Brian Evola is the District Manager for the Pine Bluff and Chadwick Road Landfills in the South Atlantic Market Area of Waste Management. He is responsible for the overall management and operation of both Waste Management of Metro Atlanta disposal facilities and manages a dedicated team of employees. Brian joins us as a seasoned professional, with over 15 years of experience in the solid waste industry, both post collection and hauling. Brian’s extensive knowledge of disposal operations and regulatory requirements, coupled with his regard for our environment and communities, makes him a good fit for our Pine Bluff Landfill facility. Brian is currently seeking his degree in Civil Engineering Technology and lives in North Georgia with his wife and children.

Mr. Donnard Johnson

Operations Manager, Pine Bluff Landfill

Operations Manager for the Pine Bluff and Chadwick Road Landfills in the South Atlantic Market Area of Waste Management. He is responsible for the daily operations of the Landfill and manages a dedicated team of professional employees. Donnard joined Waste Management in 2003. Over the past six years, he has work diligently to make sure that all regulatory compliance standards been met at the local, state and federal level. Before joining the Pine Bluff Landfill team, he successfully managed the operations of the Bolton Road Landfill in the City of Atlanta from 2005 to 2009. Donnard is a Certified Professional Landfill Operator. He acquired his certification from the University of Georgia, Center for Continuing Education, in association with SWANA.

Mrs. JoAnn Birrell

Community & Municipal Relations Manager

JoAnn is the Community & Municipal Relations Manager for Waste Management's South Atlantic Market Area. In this capacity, she manages municipal and community relations, as well as charitable contributions and volunteerism for landfill and hauling operations in the Area. She has 23 years of experience in the solid waste and recycling industry. JoAnn is a Board Member of the Development Authority of Cobb County, the Northeast Cobb Business Association and of the Solid Waste Assoc. of North America (SWANA) Georgia Chapter. She is a former Chairman and Board Member of Keep Cobb Beautiful and the Neighborhood Safety Commission of Cobb County, a past Board Member of Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful and past Chair and member of National Solid Waste Management Assoc (NSWMA). JoAnn is currently serving a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Governmental Affairs Committee. She is also a Certified Landfill Operator. JoAnn has a B.A. Degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Litigation Certificate from the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ms. Faye Jenkins

Administrator

Faye is the facility Administrator for the Pine Bluff Landfill. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing the daily office and administrative duties for the facility, inclusive of proposal preparations for Municipal and Special Waste Contracts. Faye plays a critical role on the Pine Bluff Landfill team, ensuring that records and other documentation are prepared and filed according to the extensive requirements from state regulatory agencies. She has over 19 years of experience in the solid waste and recycling industry, as well as in the field of proposal development. Prior to joining the Pine Bluff Landfill team, Faye was a Recruiter and Administrator for Pacific-Atlantic Technical Services Company, where she supported Division Managers responsible for several Nuclear, Fossil and Petro-Chemical plants across the U.S. and overseas. Faye attended Kennesaw Jr. College and received specialized education from Akers Computer School in the area of Office Automation.
